Stitch Therapy

Discovering me … one stitch at a time

Happy Monday, Friends! Did you all have wonderful Mother’s Day celebrations? I hope so!

We had an activity-filled weekend. On Saturday, I made the mistake of trying to mow the lawn. I hadn’t renewed our landscaper contract and (in a moment of delusion) thought that it was something that I could do myself. HA! I got part of the front lawn done and thought that I would DIE! It must have been obvious that I was in over my head because our neighbor’s landscape guy came over to offer his services. I couldn’t say yes fast enough.

I got to do (almost) all of my favorite things on Sunday. Sleep. Eat delicious food. Play piano. Read. Kiss and cuddle my sweeties. Go for a family run (say what?! more on that later!). Organize the pantry. It was a pretty stellar day. I am one lucky girl indeed!

Here are some photos from our day:

An Escape

  1. Glad you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I did as well. Now the lawn thing that you did…I have to give it to you for trying. Glad there was a landscape guy to rescue you 🙂

  2. 🙂 Love it!

  3. Ha! I bullied the 15yo into mowing the lawns. There’s a few mohawks of taller grass but on the whole, it’s done.

  4. I can’t wait until the boys are old enough to mow!!!

  5. I’d get a lamb but they just don’t stay cute. And they poop, my gardens aren’t big enough to bed that much poo. Lastly, I think the hubby would cry if I called it what I want to. Which is Christmas Dinner.

I love to hear from you!
