Stitch Therapy

Discovering me … one stitch at a time

Good Day!

I have not even touched my cross stitch this week. I am still traumatized by the Great Needle Incident of 2013. Luckily, we are able to laugh about it. Today, Tom asked if I was going to make Chicken Needle Soup for lunch. What a comedian. :-/

I am so excited because:

  1. Today is the boys’ Spring Concert at school. They’ve already both declared that they will “do the hand motions” but will only be “moving their mouths and not really be singing.”
  2. I am only working a half day!
  3. Memorial Day weekend at the beach is fast approaching!
  4. My bangs are finally growing out to a reasonable length and I no longer look like a toddler who gave herself a bad haircut.

It’s the small things!

  1. I just love reading your blog. You are always sure to put a smile on my face. It’s that busy end of year time. I think it’s cute your boys told you that they would be lip syncing in advance. And the chicken Needle soup made me laugh out loud. And it’s good to hear that you have finally outgrew that toddler hair cut 🙂 Have a great Memorial Day weekend! And thanks for making me smile today 🙂

  2. Awww, Ginny, your sweet comment made my day! Hope you have a great holiday weekend!

I love to hear from you!
