Stitch Therapy

Discovering me … one stitch at a time

How is it that the weeks just keep speeding by? It seemed like it was just Summer and now here we are almost at the end of October.

It’s starting to look a bit like Halloween around here.

I like any excuse to display my ouija board collection. Is it weird to have a ouija board collection in the first place?

Spell check just informed me that I’ve been spelling ouija incorrectly for years. Some collector I am.

I did the teensiest bit of stitching this week. It might be time to take a break and do some Christmas stitching because (yikes!) Christmas is just 2 months away! So much for planning ahead this year.

But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, back to Halloween. We’ve got that covered.

The Basics

Simple pleasures

  1. oooooh… spoooky… halloween is not a big thing here, which is a shame. i am freaked out by all things ouija. i will make pumpkin gelato tomorrow – that’s autumny. which here means grey skies and almost 0 degrees. where did the summer go indeed. (great photos of you and charlie).

  2. I am actually freaked out by ouija too. I don’t use them!!!

Yummmmm… pumpkin gelato! I can’t believe it is already 0 degrees there!

  3. Have you ever done a stitched Ouija board? One of the classic-style ones would look pretty sharp stitched up.

  4. Hi Maia. I saw a ouija board that someone stitched once. It was cool! I need to find a pattern.

  5. carolinehauf

ouiji is totally how I’ve been spelling it – in my head at least, can’t remember the last time I wrote it, but now I’ll know better! And yes – I seem to remember a pattern as well..hmmm, can’t remember by who. I love the expressions on Charlie’s face – hilarious!

  6. Someone is having fun on the computer 😉 Love your Ouija boards! They look great on display.

I love to hear from you!
