Stitch Therapy

Discovering me … one stitch at a time

Camp Tom.

I don’t really have anything exciting to write about today, but am procrastinating from working.

We had a quiet night and started Day 1 of Deepak’s latest 21 day meditation challenge on “Relationships.” My friend, Melania, told me about the last series that he had, but I only lasted until about Day 12 that time. Hopefully this one goes better. Meditation is sooooo beneficial, but it is such a struggle for me. I am trying to get better and more consistent with it.

Littlest Boy is doing well at Camp Tom.

He spent yesterday walking dogs…

Slaying dinosaurs…

Flirting with girls who came into the office (not pictured, but you can just imagine!)…

And learning the concept of multiplication.

Not bad for a day’s work. I’m starting to think that Tom should start a summer camp for wayward youths, or at least naughty kindergartners. He’s got a gift!

Since we are starting imaginary camps, I will start a camp for career gals who wish that they were stay-at-home cross stitch gals.

Around here.

Sage advice.

  1. Your little one is a cutie. I bet all the ladies have to stop and chat with him. And he is getting in a little schooling on the side, LOL. I am a stay-at-home Mom, but I rarely ever get to stitch during the day. And when I do, I feel like I am playing hookie from house work 🙂 Am seriously thinking of stitching the afternoon away. Don’t tell 😉

  2. It’s amazing how fast the time flies by at home. There is always so much to do. No one will be the wiser if you sneak in some stitching! 😉

I love to hear from you!
